Adventures Teaching Staff:

Infant Room - Ms. Michelle Hall
 
Ms. Michelle joined Adventures this year with years of experience in the field of Early Childhood & a background as an LPN. We are thrilled to have her on our team.

Toddler Room - Ms. Samantha Schweitzer, Lead Teacher and Ms. Courtney Keathley, Assistant Toddler Teacher

Ms. Sam has been our Toddler teacher since February 2009 and is pursuing her CDA credential. Ms. Sam will be with our toddlers until August 2010 and then she will move up with her little ones to be co-teacher in our 2's room. Ms. Courtney is co-teaching with Ms. Sam in the toddler room in preparation to take over as lead teacher in August 2010!

Two Year Olds - Ms. Sarah Kennedy & Ms. Genai Portillo

Ms. Sarah has excitedly taken over position as our lead 2's teacher and has been with Adventures as our toddler teacher since December 2008. Ms. Genai joined Adventures in late July 2009 and comes to us with tons of Early Childhood experience as well as her CDA certification. Ms. Genai is an awesome part of our already wonderful teaching staff and along with Ms. Sarah they make up a great 2's teaching team.
 
Three Year Olds Summer Staff - Ms. Sylvie Simis, Ms. Erin Monfett  & Ms. Darby McGuinness

Ms. Sylvie has been with Adventures since we opened our doors in February 2008. Ms. Sylvie has taught our 2 year olds in the past and is now teaching our young 3's class. Ms. Sylvie is not only our 3's Lead Teacher but also the Assistant Director. Ms. Sylvie holds her CDA and recently completed her Director's Credential Certification. 
Ms. Erin is our newest addition and team teaches our 3's with Ms. Sylvie and Ms. Darby. Ms. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science in Education degree specializing in Early Childhood, we are thrilled to have her on board.
Ms. Darby is an awesome part of our 3's team. Ms. Darby has years of experience and her CDA certification. 

Pre-K Summer Staff - Ms. Amber Brown, Ms. Holly Font, Ms. Wendy Skidmore and Ms. Jenna Warner

We have an incredible Pre-K staff this summer. 
Ms. Amber has been with Adventures since our doors opened. Ms. Amber holds her CDA and is currently enrolled to complete her A.S. degree in Early Childhood.
Ms. Holly has also been with Adventures since we opened and has worn many hats along the way. She has taught 3's and VPK over the last year and a half and is working with our VPK students again this year. Ms. Holly also has her CDA certification.
Ms. Wendy comes to us with over 20 years experience in the field of Early Childhood. She holds her CDA certification and has been with us since April 2009. 
Ms. Jenna holds her CDA certification but plans to pursue her A.S. degree.

All of our preschool staff members are CPR and First Aid certified and are constantly continuing their Early Childhood Education, showing a true commitment to their field. As a mom I feel that choosing the best teachers for our children is not only important but nothing less will do.
